Due to his musical socialization during the two studies at the Conservatory and the University of Vienna, jazz plays a special role in his compositional work. Whether traditional instrumental music, world music or stylistic incongruity with spoken word - all these compositions have one thing in common: Improvisational freedom.
Vogel auf dem Leim (2019) Jazzballade
Commissioned composition for a radio play by Helmut Hostnig about the poem 'Es sitzt ein Vogel auf dem Leim' by Wilhelm Busch. This recording with a jazz quintet was released in 2019 on the album 'Sendezeit' by 'Barry Good'.

Greenling Bird (2016) Jazz-Ballade
Originally this was a composition exercise via a poem by Karin Kaminker, written for Mathias Ruegg while studying at the University of Vienna. Later on this composition made it onto the album 'And how are you' by 'Barry Good'.
